A Jules Ferry gimnázium a maga 12%-os eredményességi mutatójával messze a legrosszabb középiskola egész Franciaországban. Mivel rosszabb már úgysem lehet, a minisztériumban úgy döntenek, kutyaharapást szőrével alapon a legalkalmatlanabb tanári kart küldik a suliba, hogy kozmetikázzanak valamit ezeken a katasztrofális eredményeken. A cél: elérni az 50%-ot, különben a Jules Ferry Gimnázium bezárja kapuit. Ám kétséges, hogy ennyi bizarr figurával mire megy a diákság: a történelemtanár Napóleonnak képzeli magát, a filozófusnak egy szavát sem érteni, a kémiaprofesszor kísérletei életveszélyesek, míg a fiatal és csábos franciatanárnő láttán a fiúk gyorsabban olvadnak, mint egy csokinyúl. És akkor ott van még Tiroci tanár úr (Christian Clavier), akiről valójában senki nem tudja, mit is tanít… (Cinetel)

Have you seen the German comedy Suck Me Shakespeer? Well, Serial Teachers is exactly the same thing only French and at least two levels wackier. There are some weaker bits among all those scenes, but I essentially laughed my head off from beginning to end. Getting to know France’s worst teachers is brutal and it’s great that every single one of them is a true character. I’d say that my favorite was the PE teacher, who loves sport and who isn’t afraid to show his students that sport is everywhere they look. It’s been ages since I had such a relaxing time like with this movie.

The French are shining again. I can see now where Suck Me Shakespeer got its inspiration. A local school is in trouble and threatened with closure, so they decide to hire the worst professors instead of the best, and that's what I call a perfect idea for a comedy. All of the professors are well chosen and the entertainment is immediately taken care of. I enjoyed the scruffy gym teacher, the seductive French teacher, the History professor who only cared about Napoleon, and the Philosophy professor whom no one understood was also good. I laughed a lot. 80%.
