Hixploitation from Sweden? That’s not too shabby. Scandinavia has been quite strong in horror lately and hixploitation is one of my favourite subgenres. Unfortunately, however, I have to say that this one is not very good. Madness can satisfy only very undemanding viewers, it’s way too amateurish, with toe-curling performances or, to be more precise, with no performances at all – the characters do not portray any emotions throughout the film, they look as if nothing was going on. Those deaths need a bit of life, or at least a hint of hysteria.
