angol Definitely not as funny as the Japanese version. Actually, the faces of it come in a close second to the other one. Actually, the only thing that's a bit better here than the Japanese is the better looking main character – well, at least I like him better than Shun. ;-) But otherwise? Too long-winded at times, stupid. The upside, on the other hand, is that it was really faithful to the manga, so when I watched it, it was like the manga jumped up, took on color, and started moving. Unfortunately it ends pretty badly, like some anime I guess – you can read the rest in the manga – which I didn't mind because I've already read it so I know how to move on; still, it probably would have been better if the series had a better ending. It was rumored to have a second season, but then somehow it got dropped, which is why... it's so weirdly cut off in the middle. If you liked the Japanese version, you'll like this one too, it's hard to say if you’ll like it more or less. Anyway, the jumper here isn't a "cold fish" like Sano was, this one can show a lot of emotion. And that's nice. It's definitely not a show that you feel the need to watch from start to finish, which happens with some shows. With this one, you can just watch one episode before going to bed and your curiosity isn't on point, although that's coming from someone who's seen the Japanese version and read the manga... Topped off with a catchy opening theme by S.H.E., which I promptly downloaded. A lot of my friends liked it, sure, pop, I run into it occasionally now that I have it on shuffle... Bottom line: a better three stars. P.S.: The big shock was... when I learned that the actress was 25 years old... Like, the most shocking X-D ()
