50 Cent wrote and directed a film in which he played the lead role, because he felt that acting and filmmaking would probably go as well as rap for him. Well, he was a bit mistaken, but it's not that terrible. He simply made a fairly ordinary action film, which is supposed to have some social foundations because some people just have bad luck. The amateurish approach and poor tricks are somewhat balanced by the gritty execution. However, not too much. It's just a fairly ordinary revenge film that wants to stand out only with 50 Cent.
