Julian Fellowes Investigates: A Most Mysterious Murder - The Case of the Croydon Poisonings

I was expecting something a little different. Not a classically conceived, already finished and only served detective story, but more authentic witness testimonies and a plot that is still coming together right in front of the audience's eyes. That’s too bad. And frankly, the clues leading to the discovery of the killer seemed a bit flimsy to me. Still, I actually quite liked the first episode of A Most Mysterious Murder and was amused that Julian Fellowes presented it in the style of Alfred Hitchcock. Three and a half. (2016.01.24)
