angol I can't help it, but this is a movie that was supposed to showcase Gregory Peck's mastery, not history and historical events themselves. Gregory Peck is excellent here, he handles pathos incredibly well like few actors can, but honestly, thanks to the film, the life of General MacArthur or any other historical figure didn't particularly capture my interest. But worth mentioning is what was broadcasted on the Japanese radio, which occasionally comes through in the film. ()
