It's not total crap, but it’s close. About 95% of Stan Helsing amounts to an incredibly lame film that would love to poke fun at horror movies starring the most famous killers (Freddy, Mike, Pinhead, Leatherface, etc.,). But it’s not very good at it. Leslie Nielsen is responsible for the funniest moments, but he's not exactly full of jokes either (more like we are glad to see him), then there are a few other moments like Freddy's multi-functional gloves, karaoke, and the final scene. Stan Helsing is better than Scary Movie (the first two), but it's not up to the level of Superhero Movie (staying with recent parodies).

This is really not funny at all. I wouldn't mind at all if the creators were making fun of horror movies, but going this way really doesn't make any sense. It's pitiful, it's tiresome, and there wasn't even one single joke here that would make me smile. This is really bad for a comedy. The toilet humor in this execution is pathetic.
