An elderly millionaire is found dead in his bedroom, the apparent victim of a heart attack. But the wealthy septuagenarian may have been murdered. His secretary claims this is so, and the police investigation uncovers evidence pointing to the dead man's kinky sexual affair with gallery owner Rebecca Carlson -- a woman who stands to inherit $8 million dollars from the deceased's estate. The District Attorney's office charges Rebecca with murder. The weapon: her own deadly body. Hot-shot Portland defense lawyer Frank Dulaney decides to defend Ms. Carlson, and he's convinced of her innocence, at first.
