A middle aged man who is a leader in his church and works as a compliance officer for the city acts out his need for power and control by choosing to prey and murder innocent people. He is quickly deemed the "B.T.K" killer by the police as his motif operandi is to bind, torture and then kill his victims. (Imagination Worldwide)

It's not a bad idea, although the "bind, torture and kill" that the acronym stands for is a bit misleading after all, as this is not as gritty a film as the title might promise. It is pretty decent as a glimpse into a sick mind, so I was able to tolerate the film, but it is also quite illogical in places and doesn't work as well as it probably should. Kane Hodder acts a little too weirdly for a guy the community is supposed to idolize.
