"The biggest and worst thing in the world is when someone loves someone too much." Dům na nebesích is a gem, without any exaggeration, or perhaps exaggerated adoration. I recommend it to absolutely everyone. Jiřina Bohdalová delivers an incredibly admirable performance, which is completely believable thanks to the fact that Jiří Hubač wrote the play for her and based it on her real life. It entertains and touches us. In short, the Vinohrady Theatre is in full force and 156 minutes passes by like an hour. Seriously.
