Tengen toppa Gurren Lagann

This show has an incredible drive. Practically from the first episode on, it is an excellent and crazy ride that does not let up even towards the end, and you can enjoy all the action-packed, suspenseful scenes, plus twists. Furthermore, it has a wonderful, uncomplicated story, and perhaps it does not often explain some things very well; however, the pace means you do not have to think about it too much. Another great aspect is the setting; whether it is the early post-apocalyptic world that looks incredibly interesting or the later, more modern setting, I found both charming. I also have to add the characters to the list of positive aspects unequivocally; the three main protagonists were great. I especially found Kamina appealing, and some of his lines were truly classic and brought an incredible amount of wit to this show. Add to that good animation and a great soundtrack, and you have a show that I think is almost perfect. In addition, it is also a celebration of human determination because watching this anime series, I had the feeling that if you want to, you can do anything, which motivates me as a member of this species. 10/10.
