Tartalmak(1)

A gyönyörű, fiatal Rebecca (Isla Fisher) tipikus nagyvárosi szenvedélybetegségben, vásárlási kényszerben szenved. A jóképű, ambiciózus munkatársa, Luke (Hugh Dancy) figyelmét is felkelti, aki mit sem tud a vásárlási mánia férfiakra gyakorolt veszélyes hatásáról. (Fórum Hungary)

angol Any girl who likes fashion and shopping has to love this movie. I'm one of them, and I often come across as a shopaholic too. The movie was pretty colorful, sweetly funny, and slightly romantic. Isla Fisher was really charming and I look forward to seeing another movie with her! ()

angol The central acting couple is photogenic and even capable of acting in many ways, but the script is one of those that want to present it in a way that appeals to as wide a potential audience as possible, which in practice means catering to the tastes of the so-called "mass audience" to an extent that content-wise, it is too stupid. To such an extent, in fact, that it will probably even deter the target audience. Sadly, my exploration of these territories of cinema, which I have avoided so far, has not brought me any pleasant surprises yet. Overall impression: 25%. ()

angol The film didn't have a very sophisticated story, the plot wasn't particularly engaging, and I had considerably less fun than I’d expect from such a cast. Then again, there were some hilarious moments from time to time and I’ve always thought of Isla Fisher as eye candy, so I can safely say that the film had a few undeniable assets. It's just that, Isla Fisher aside, I can’t help feeling like I won't remember what the film was about tomorrow. It failed to leave a lasting impression on me. It was an easy watch that lets you completely switch off, and unless you suffer from some kind of addiction, it won’t make you think at all. If it hadn’t been for the melodramatic ending enhanced by applause I would have given it three stars. / Lesson learned: Credit cards are like shell game operators; they make you feel like you’re winning but you end up broke.
