Milo is a professional hit man living on the edge. When failing to fulfill a contract for the first time, he escapes the city to avoid the wrath of his employers. The Baker is a totally relaxed and breezy comedy set in the Welsh countryside. The cast was great – I always love to see Damian Lewis as well as Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. It's just that something seemed to be missing. It was like eating a dish that the chef hadn't quite finished making. Plus, I don't like scenes with applause and sudden mass epiphanies, so three stars is as high as I’ll go.
