Virginia államban eltűnik a Szövetségi Nyomozó Iroda egyik embere. (HBO Europe)

angol A fair to middling relationship drama rudely grafted on to an ordinary and not particularly interesting episode that tries to prove that pedophilia is a virtue and that English is a beautiful language. Visually distinguishable from any other episode of the later series, but I have a weakness for snowy, Fargo-like backwaters, so that didn’t matter to me in the least. But Duchovny seemed like he didn’t know if he should act like good old Mulder or Hank Moody, and so he is neither. I’m not capable of objectively assessing Gillian’s performance, because I belong to the generation for whom The X-Files appeared on TV slap bang in the prime of my adolescence. Therefore her bosom and sex appeal are untouchable. Too bad that their “courting" scenes have completely disappears. Overall this is a boring affair about nothing that has a couple of excellent scenes (Scully visiting Connolly) and several lighter moments that work. Despite this, I didn’t leave the movie theater disappointed. Although I wasn’t totally satisfied either. Even so, I would welcome another, if possible higher quality, feature-length episode. Because the truth (and lots of God-chosen pedophiles) is still somewhere out there... ()

angol A pure gift for fans, disguised as a movie that even uninformed or semi-informed individuals will appreciate. It will not be appreciated. Paradoxically, those who watched the series years ago and have it in their memory as a series of monster cases from forests, channels, or polar regions mixed with extraterrestrial chasing, will be the most disappointed. However, those who spent nine television seasons with Mulder and Scully and understand their developed bond or references to William will appreciate the winter odyssey more. The series offered several dark episodes where paranormal phenomena were not the central point of the script. But here, everything is two or three classes more personal. Thanks to that, the underestimated film is not only a thrilling thriller but above all a mental cleansing for both main characters. In short, a (literal) wave to the unforgettable phenomenon that the series undoubtedly deserved. It will be remembered beautifully. ()

angol I want to believe too, but this applies more to aliens than believing in butchers like this. This seemed to be one of the regular episodes of this series, the only difference being the longer running time and the resulting drawn out story that sometimes slipped, or rather kept on slipping away from the intended course of the plot. angol It’s interesting how easy it was to immerse oneself into the famous story of the renowned TV duo investigating paranormal phenomena since 1993. What factors played a role in that is a slightly debatable matter, but the fact remains that the new feature film works completely independently and unfortunately I have to say it is also a very ordinary crime story, with a classically constructed plot about mysterious murders, while not missing the “family side” in the form of a dysfunctional central duo, a few troubled faces, some life lessons, and a decent chase. The conclusion is at least quite nasty and the whole theme around which this film revolves is certainly bizarre at the very least. The atmosphere is well managed, but I don’t think this routine piece can help the reputation of the famous and legendary TV series for many people. It is simply not good. As a standalone piece, it is average, but considering the fact that this film should at least maintain some sort of general known concept due to its “formal” interconnectedness with the series, I tend towards a lower rating. angol An excellent crime film with a mysterious flavor. Perhaps it would have even worked without Mulder and Scully, but of course it is even better with them. What I was missing in the first X-Files is here. The story doesn't look televised anymore, it's 100% theatrical, and there's no lack of surprises. Apart from Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny, I was also very pleased by Billy Connolly. ()

angol So the topics are repeating themselves a bit too much, you feel like you're watching another episode again, as if it's not even a feature film. It's a bit worn out, it doesn't have that right charge anymore, except for the fact that Gillian is still hot. And probably even more so. Not that the movie isn't suspenseful, it is a bit, but you still feel like it's not that interesting. In the end, this is just another installment that doesn't change much. It's a shame, it was more about revisiting beloved characters than anything else. ()
