Season 6 is unwatchable for a change. There are far too many pseudo-religious idiots. By then all the supporting characters had managed to exchange lovers, so there was nothing left. Dexter can't have a friend, girlfriend, wife, or kids, so we leave him with an unstable sister and a baby. Great.

The sixth season was a bit unbalanced. Personally, I like serial killers who believe they are led by a higher power, because it supports my view of religion. What I had an issue with was the character of Brother Sam and his search for light. All that religious claptrap, twisting everything to fit a particular passage in the Bible was really annoying. I wasn’t overly enthusiastic about daddy Dexter either, but each time he managed to get rid of his kid for a while, the fun began.
