I enjoyed this show just like I did when I first watched it fifteen years ago. So, you could say it's timeless for me (just like Monty Python's Flying Circus, Fawlty Towers, or Blackadder). I'm certainly a fan of British humor (at least of what it used to be). / Lesson learned: Yes, even older shows have their charm.
