Quite a disappointment compared to the first film, which was entertaining and interesting. This is simply just boring, stagnant, and the constant confrontation between Švejk and Lukáš, played by Lamač himself, doesn't save it. It's more like an interlude that was supposed to prepare us for the third installment, which is worth watching again.
