This is actually the very first movie from Peru I have ever seen. It was recommended to me by Enšpígl, who heard of it from kareen and I would really like to thank both of them for this incredible movie experience. You see, I didn’t expect that this heat-and-humidity-packed comedy would be this much fun. The story centers around a young and promising soldier who is put in charge of a team of prostitutes who are supposed to spread joy among the soldiers on watch towers all over Peru. He takes his mission very seriously and quickly puts together a commando of prostitutes who manage to have so much sex at his command that they exceed even the stats with which he planned to occupy the entire country. But obviously, this story couldn’t go on without a relationship getting in the way. Whenever there’s a woman somewhere, I smell trouble coming. And it can’t really work any other way. Here, the trouble is so bad that the heat and humidity crept all the way into my boxers. Anyways, the whole thing unravels in an absurdly comic way and I can’t but give it a solid four-star review.
