Josef Kemr in particular does something amazing in this TV fairy tale - and not only by fairy tale standards. Moreover, the gloomy atmosphere of the story is well balanced by detached humor, so the result is an enjoyable spectacle with a very interesting ending (with a small question mark intended more for adult viewers).
