Senki nem hisz egy hazudozónak, még akkor sem, ha történetesen igazat beszél. Mikor egy fiatal lányt holtan találnak és kiderül, hogy gyilkosság áldozata lett, a helyi gimnázium tanulóinak egy csoportja gonosz tervet eszel ki. Elhatározzák, hogy halálra ijesztik osztálytársaikat egy interneten terjedő pletykával, mely szerint a halott lány egy Farkas névre hallgató sorozatgyilkos áldozata, aki újabb préda után kutat. Szóról szóra felvázolják a Farkas következő áldozatát, hogy megtudják, "játékuk" milyen hatást képes elérni és hány szerencsétlen tanulót sikerül meggyőzni a gyilkos létezéséről, s végül lesz-e olyan, aki leleplezi a hazugságot. Ám amikor a lefestett áldozatot valóban meggyilkolják, már senki nem tudja megmondani, hol kezdődik a hazugság és hol az igazság. Márpedig valaki (vagy valami) sorra elkezd vadászni a gimnázium tanulóira, a viccnek indult játék pedig szörnyűséges valósággá válik. (Film+)
