Cannibal Diner

German horror filmmakers are often known for aiming for unrealistic depictions of violence, but always as detailed and indirectly as possible. But that's not the case at all in Cannibal Diner, which focuses more on the main character experiencing it, and every now and then there's a shot of something a little grittier, but honestly, I didn't see anything here that was going to get to me. You’d tend expect something very different from a film like this. (2018.06.25)
