College student, Mindy (Rachel Miner, The Black Dahlia, Penny Dreadful), and her classmates Cassandra (Taryn Manning, Hustle & Flow, Cold Mountain, 8 Mile) and Alex (Joel Michaely, Factory Girl, Wonderland, The Rules of Attraction) are researching an extinct local cult for a class project. Their investigation uncovers a magical jade amulet of ancient Chinese origin, which was regarded as the source of the cult's power, and demise.
