(Film+)

"I really love this comedy. There is nostalgia in it, I used to watch it as a child too often. However, there are still funny moments, you just can't take them away. The best part is in the original Czech dubbing though. It is unmatched despite the translation peculiarities. Actually, they are beautiful as well." ()
One of the most iconic comedies ever, and perhaps rightly so. It may not be the smartest, but if you really want to laugh from the heart, there is no better and more proven candidate... :) It's just a shame that it's been on TV maybe a few too many times. 85% ()
Police Academy launched a ten-year series from a police setting and introduced us to some quirky characters. It's not a particularly well-written comedy, but it's still fun to watch, even if some of the jokes don't amuse as much as they did on first viewing. The cunning fox Mahoney, the dangerously quiet Hooks, the walking mountain Hightower, the vigorous gun-loving Tackleberry, the slightly confused Chief Lassard, the sensually seductive Callahan, and the dastardly scumbag Harris - who wouldn't love this bunch. Moreover, this film gave the Blue Oyster connection an utterly timeless meaning. ()
