Az idők hajnala óta köztünk járnak a halhatatlanok, hogy megküzdjenek a "Jutalomért", amely a végső győztest illeti meg. Connor MacLeod, a hegylakó, látszólag minden vetélytársát legyűrte, most mégis új ellenfele akad. Mégpedig a leghalálosabb, a mágikus képességekkel rendelkező Kane személyében, aki - Connor-nak hála! - csaknem négy évszázadot töltött egy hegység gyomrába zárva. A japán régészek által akaratlanul kiszabadított bosszúszomjas mágusnak halál és pusztulás jár minden lépése nyomán. Örök kárhozat vár a világra, ha Connor nem váltja be az ősi jóslatot a végső összecsapásnál, mely után csak egyetlenegy maradhat. (Mozi+)

Christopher Lambert needed to pay the rent one year in advance again. If I knew what would come of it, I'd pay it for him out of my own pocket.

This really doesn't have anything to impress. It's just a repetition of some scenes from the first movie but with a different attempt to put the story together. The flashbacks are dreadful, the effects too, the acting is standard, but the only thing that stood out for me was a somewhat beautiful erotic scene. The villain is fine, but there simply isn't anything here to truly justify a continuation.

The Sorcerer is definitely not one of Highlander's worst films. Deborah Kara Unger and Mario Van Peebles were never able to act decently, but knowing the imbalance of the entire film series, it's not that bad of an experience. As usual, the flashbacks are one of the better aspects.
