If this is the film that cost John Wayne his health and gave him cancer, it's a great shame that it wasn't a better quality film. But the idea itself, that John would play a Mongolian warrior and conqueror, is just weird. It's not that bad, there are good fight scenes here, but it's too long and pretentiously grandiose film that doesn't really entertain much.
