Dag och natt

Absolutely amazing, precise, in a way even a perfect movie about a character who is damn far from such words. The director filmed the movie in an amazing and an incredible way. In fact, in those 95 minutes, you will be introduced to the life of one person from the point of view of a car dashboard, either shooting him or the passenger. You don’t know what exactly happened, there’s just a series of apologies, which ends with a shot in the head. This is not a spoiler; the movie reveals it at the very beginning. The truly interesting things happen in the next 93 minutes. The dialogue was so perfect that I had to constantly think about the character’s life. Mikael Persbrandt showcased an absolutely perfect performance. All that was left for me to do was stare. And all that was shot from the point of view of two static cameras. Hats off. Even such simple but incredibly original movies can force you to just stare with your mouth wide open. (2012.11.13)
