Sadalu, Délkelet-Ázsia, 1995. A véres polgárháború hetedik hónapjában az egyeduralomra törő Bison tábornok túszul ejti az ENSZ segélyszervezetének munkatársait. A foglyoknak egyetlen esélye van, hogy elkerüljék a kínhalált: William F. Guile. Az ő feladata felkutatni és megmenteni őket. Guile és társa, az angol titkosszolgálat ügynöke ekkor nekivág, hogy szembeszálljon az őrült diktátorral. Bejutnak a titkos erődbe, tervük már sikerülni látszik, amikor megjelenik Chun-Li, akit eddig mindenki egyszerű újságírónak hitt, és kiderül, ő is sokkal többet akar, mint híreket. Megkezdődik hát a végső leszámolás - hőseink élete vagy halála a szabad világ sorsát is örökre eldöntheti... (TV2)

Such craziness, which is not that bad in execution, even though one might think so based on the time of its creation. If there are any tricks, they are not nearly as bad as one might think. I quite like that it's such a crazy costume, where things go haywire and it actually turns out quite well. Nothing groundbreaking, but a nice hour and a half of entertainment, yes.

That's all I'll give it, even though my lustful eyes feasted on the ravishing Kylie. I could simply put on a clip with her and I wouldn’t have to watch this botched and boring Van Damme flick.

A cult-classic, though not exactly brilliant, it is one of the most famous films with Jean-Claude Van Damme. There isn't as much action as there should be and, on the contrary, there is an abundance of chatter. But the self-parody and several interesting references and winks occasionally make you smile, realising that they didn't take everything so seriously after all. Furthermore, towards the end, Van Damme showcases some great kicks and flips, so that's a small plus.
