This is only the 4th version of the operetta "Die Fledermaus" since 1931 in German-speaking countries. That speaks for itself, and I don't need it to be modern, even with a rubber butterfly on Marika's head... The first color version is decent, but Baarová’s film is definitely the best version. If I can get a version with Anny Ondra, then we'll see.
