Family tensions erupt, and home truths are voiced, as the Driscolls continue on their journey. They find an uneasy sanctuary in Reading before being forced to flee again, eventually arriving at a refugee camp, where Geoff’s past actions catch up with him. The Driscolls have been traced there by Hogwood, who presents Geoff with an impossible choice. The family’s plan to escape puts them all at risk.
