Connie is a foreigner who lives in Mexico with Vic. Isolated by the cultural barrier, she’s involved in a codependent relationship, where Vic is sometimes charming and sometimes subtle in his abuse. He claims her for everyday incidents, making her believe she went mad. But a conversation with the house worker makes Connie notice the Vic’s odd behavior. (Monterrey International Film Festival)
