Four homeless orphan kids struggle in the Babylon Hill favela in Rio de Janeiro. Surviving thanks to petty pickpocketing, shining shoes and cutting the strings of the kites to sell them later to others, they manage, with their wits, to thrive in the face of hopelessness. (Locarno Festival)
