Two young women take up work for a company that makes its profits from the dying, offering euthanasia to the long suffering in exchange for fast cash. After a gut-wrenching first dat, the girls are quickly dispatched to a remote estate to perform an espcially gruesome and ritualised assisted suicide request. Once a member of an evil dead cult, their client now suffers crippling pain from the demons of his past. When the pair learn that the ritual suicide is the only way to free him from his torture, they reluctantly agree, but in doing so, they unwittingly unearth spirits led by the very man they have been hired to kill. The Canadian production The Hexecutioners is a ghost story that starts off with a good idea, then it drags on and has nothing else to offer. There are scenes you have seen a million times before and scenes that fail to grab your attention. This rather shows that neither of the leading actors is particularly interesting. This is too bad because The Hexecutioners looked very promising at the beginning.
