Allons enfants

The elitist Turgot Institute is a place where modern dance and hip hop are taught, open to young people in situations verging on social exclusion, in exchange for a “small” effort: that they pass their high school exams. The aim is not only to become a hip hop artist, but to break the cycle of social determinism that condemns young people from poor families to become “social cases”, cannon fodder for unemployment. Through the camera of Thierry Demaizière and Alban Teurlai, we live, dance, fail and succeed with the students of a very special class. (Gijón International Film Festival)
