Joanna's brain quickly becomes hectic and confusing, especially when she has to sacrifice the next purchase of her ADHD medication, so her sedentary, depressed father gets paid the monthly electricity bill. As the final pill box draws to a close, Joanna combines creativity, naivety and growing desperation to find alternative ways to make money, from selling condoms to hashish, which does not make everyday life less complicated. In the German class, Joanna and the charming and steady Audrey are mated. Now Joanna also has to deal with a love affair and difficult questions from Audrey, who challenges Joanna to open up and dare to be who she is. (The Norwegian International Film Festival)

An unsympathetic movie about an unsympathetic girl with ADHD. Joanna is introduced to us as the daughter of a depressed father who sits in front of the TV all day and doesn't have enough money for her development and important medication. Instead of trying to get a part-time job or helping her father get better, she starts hanging out with a new classmate and planning a theft. I don't understand why she started hanging out with her when she had no motivation to spend time with her. An illogical course of action, made even more illogical by her shaking, which resembled withdrawal symptoms rather than ADHD symptoms. The idea of the film was fine, the execution not so good.
