angol A short story satire was created in the Slovak film in the same way as the Czech film Focus, Please! The line is thin, but while the Czech film is unworthy of Frič, this Slovak film can be seen as more acceptable given all the genres that were still lacking in the eastern half of the country at the time. Both films are the results of requests from the conferences of the Czechoslovak Writers' Union in 1954 and 1955. It was a series of interesting challenges for the creative team, the main actors had four different roles each, and the debut directors and cinematographer raised hopes. Solan himself wanted to go on to rewrite another story from Karvaš, but The Case of Barnabáš Kos did not premiere until 1965. ()
