John Stoneman, a professor of ethics versed in the martial arts, finds himself a desired commodity after publicity surrounds his lethal defense of his wife. When an eccentric billionaire kidnaps him for use in a private television show featuring no-holds-barred combat to the death, Stoneman finds that no amount of philosophizing can save him--only skill and brute strength.
