A shy windowdresser named Boniface finds a dead man in his bed one night. The corpse turns out to be a famous gangster named The Scar. Very upset, he goes to report the episode to the police. But the hoods are waiting outside his door and kidnap him. A little while later, Boniface is released and thought to be a hero. That's when his girlfriend gets kinapped...
