A western spaghetti topped with a thick onion sauce. The parody story about a guy who doesn't smell nice to everyone and can make even the most hardened gunslinger cry just by walking into a saloon smelled very good to me. Especially the idea of treating all the fights between the onion man and the others as classic slapstick was great. Franco Nero reminds us of Terrence Hill, Castellari in the director's chair makes fun of Leone, Corbucci and co., bizarre characters like the oilman with a mechanical arm or the engineer with the look of Adolf Hitler, the smell of onions adds even more craziness, the boys are great too... Not a major achievement, but solid entertainment. (2012.04.21)
