When the global COVID-19 pandemic broke out, all hopes turned to the discovery of an effective vaccine. The film follows the stages of its development, clinical trials, and subsequent mass production and distribution worldwide. The development of the vaccine began as early as January 2020, when the genetic sequence of the virus was identified and published. The documentary visits scientific labs and describes various experiments using inactivated viruses, protein bases, vector methods, and innovative mRNA vaccines. It shows how researchers used their knowledge gained in the two hundred years of vaccination practice to develop an effective and reliable vaccine as quickly as possible under extreme time and expectation pressure. angol ‘Vaccine’ has become one of the most misused words across the world in the last two years, and the journey to create an effective and safe substance was all the more dramatic because it had to be done as soon as possible. This documentary follows in a fairly straightforward manner the different approaches of several departments and their efforts to create a suitable vaccine that could bring the coronavirus pandemic under control. I commend the comment in the film that healthcare should not be political. ()
