A nagy fehér

At first I let myself get intoxicated on the gimmick of the nicely photographed exotic nature, but after some time it became a borefest on a boat. A group of castaways simply face a man-eating shark, something we've seen many times before, and better. The characters are unfortunately unlikeable and the film as a whole lacks the necessary tension. No big thrill. (2021.05.14)

After a long time, we get a shark horror movie, and although I wanted to be nicer, because you don't see shark movies every week, this is not worth mentioning much. Five people get stranded on a raft after their seaplane is destroyed 100 km from the shore, and a hungry shark swims around them. A thematically classic template and nothing new, which wouldn't be a problem if they had focused on other aspects, but those are also missing here. There is no gore to speak of (there is one half-eaten nice corpse, but that's not enough for me). The rest is just submersion and blood floating up. Well, if this impresses someone today, then I don't know. The atmosphere is zero, the tension lasts maybe 10 minutes at the end, but overall it's very weak in all aspects. At least, it's nice to look at the girls. Those who have a weakness for sharks will be happy even with this little. The rest can skip it. 4/10. (2021.05.14)
