Kéjlak (2014)

angol A failed attempt at modern Hitchcock, with so many shocking twists and turns that halfway through I didn't really care whether the chick from Transformers was killed off by Dredd, Cyclops, young Scofield, Cameron from Modern Family or the Belgian whose last name I can't spell.

Ne zavarjatok! (2014)

angol Maybe when I'm sixty, I will like these conservatively boring comedies about smug Frenchmen, flooded bathrooms and nervous wives and lovers. But probably not.

A nyomorultak (2012)

angol Three hours of singing about how people have a hard life or how they're not loved. The camera's ten inches from their faces and it's raining. Three hours!

Éjsötét árnyék (2012)

angol Meaningless bullshit whose characters act like complete idiots to a man. Or the director is an idiot. Either way, I never want to see anything from Tim Burton again in my life and I hope he's making Viagra commercials for the rest of his life.

Az apokalipszis lovasa (2008)

angol A wonderfully gritty, dirty and minimalist revenge flick with a typically nasty Australian vibe. Yes, I enjoyed it.

Így neveld a sárkányodat (2010)

angol Leave the little kids at home, take the bigger ones to the cinema and they’ll leave you alone until Christmas. A great adventure flick without annoying cheerful characters, with top action and a dragon that everyone would like to have at home.

Cincin lovag (2008)

angol Unlike his colleagues, this mouse with big ears is not afraid of cats and wants to rescue princesses. Unfortunately, he lacks charm, wit and humor and reminds you of the little boy who used to go to primary school with you, always sitting in the first row, always raising his hand and helping the teacher carry the notebooks. He's an annoying brat that nobody likes. Like this movie.

Underworld - A vérfarkasok lázadása (2009)

angol When vampires and werewolves go at each other's throats in a medieval world, the love between two of them is definitely not going to have a nice ending. This prequel to Len Wiseman's action horror film offers very chaotic action, mediocre visual effects and a feeling that it doesn't belong in the cinema.

Sněženky a machři po 25 letech (2008)

angol The old gang is back in the mountains, and even though they have a few wrinkles and some extra weight, some things just don't change. And some things change a lot. The return to the heroes of the Czech comedy classic plays more on a nostalgic note than a comedic one, but unfortunately it doesn't really work. If it weren't for some good acting, decent cinematography and music, it would have been a dud. This way, after twenty-five years, The Great Thaw is just a mediocre film whose closing credits will have you wondering why it was made in the first place.

Nem félünk a farkastól? (2008)

angol What does a family crisis look like from the perspective of a preschool-age girl? Very interesting. Who's Afraid of the Wolf is on a European level technically, in the acting and the script, and shows that Czech cinema doesn't automatically have to equal the boredom we usually see.
