Vikingek - A tréfa (2018) (epizód)

angol I surprised myself the most with my evaluation. I overlooked minor flaws because the creators obviously decided to try to return to what was good about the series. The pre-battle actions and the battle itself were successful, and I was finally satisfied after a long time.

Vikingek - Telihold (2018) (epizód)

angol After some time, I have again awarded four stars, even though it was not an episode with a frantic pace and amazing action. There was a lot of debate, but it was relevant. Bjorn found a new bride and I immediately enjoyed myself. Additionally, I learned how to properly castrate a reindeer and saw Floki trying to establish a communist regime.

Vikingek - Az üzenet (2017) (epizód)

angol The sixth episode was full of unpleasant surprises. It started with a local sandstorm, by local I mean limited to a single desert, so the whole area is bathing in sunlight. Floki is allowed to establish a religious community in Iceland, which makes me ecstatic, but Astrid topped it all off by randomly choosing a messenger from the enemy camp to deliver a message to Lagertha, and he subsequently completes the assigned task, which was a brilliant move. Just in time, Bjorn reappears... When I think about how the Vikings started, I feel sad.

Vikingek - A fogoly (2017) (epizód)

angol I was completely baffled by the development of the story again. How did Floki, the one-eared goat, make it from Iceland to Kattegat without any problems? Oh, I know, it's the gods. I've never claimed to be a great war tactician or strategist, but I definitely wouldn't come up with something as stupid as Ivar. I wonder if any renowned mathematician could calculate how many Vikings can squeeze through a narrow opening before someone simply cuts off every protruding head? Pathetic.

Vikingek - A terv (2017) (epizód)

angol In the fourth episode, I was more pleased with the events in Norway, where new intrigues began to emerge in Kattegat and Vestfold over time. Bjorn's storyline didn't interest me at all, and I'm not sure if the gradual expansion of the plot across Europe and possibly beyond is beneficial.

Vikingek - Haza (2017) (epizód)

angol Well, I just don't enjoy myself with the Vikings as much as I used to. The fight for York initially seemed very promising, the traps were pleasing, but then came Ivar's solo, unnecessarily dramatic scenes where Alfred was put in "life-threatening" situations, annoying bishop Heahmund and Floki's pus-filled journey, so yeah.

Vikingek - Holt lelkek (2017) (epizód)

angol Oh no, I got screwed over by the creators again... I was watching the second episode in complete confusion (translation: like an idiot), the most understandable part of the plot was Floki's aimless journey, but it was still annoying, I didn't really grasp what was happening in Kattegat. If Lagertha slept with Harald just for fun, fine, but if there was supposed to be a deeper meaning, it went over my head. Harald escapes from Kattegat, surely it was dramatic and could have messed with my nervous system, so the creators spared me from those shots, for which I appreciate them with two whole stars.

Vikingek - A Halászkirály (2017) (epizód)

angol The first episode of the fifth season was rich in funerals (up to 2) and farewells (up to 4), but apart from that, there was also enough space for the demonic, sneaky Ivar, who I sympathize with because I could match his speed, and thanks to Harald, I expect Lagertha to get involved as well. I was satisfied with the action, but I didn't really like the character of Bishop Heahmund, I probably won't get used to him.

The Royal Wedding: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle (2018) (műsor)

angol As a long-time fan of the island monarchy, I didn't expect anything good from this event, because the traditions got a heavy blow with the arrival of the new Duchess of Sussex. Unfortunately, I had no idea what a disaster it would be for me. Europe already reminds me of a Moroccan market, but a royal wedding where a typical American reverend goes into ecstasy and a gospel choir sings, that was something else. The footage I watched was incredibly confusing, the backdrop reminded me of England, and the cast evoked a wedding ceremony in Nigeria. Yes, it is disrespectful and not sunny of me, but I don't like today's Europe anymore, and I am at least glad that I agree with John Cleese, who said that he no longer feels like he's in England in the center of London. But back to the broadcast, the British production worked, but some Czech comments really got to me: "Most of the invited guests are wearing beautiful robes." What was that? If I were blind, I could think that the rest arrived in overalls :-) In conclusion, I fully agree with Big Bear's comment, he spoke from the heart.

Mrazivá tajemství - Série 3 (2018) (évad)

angol The Dark Secret really goes to show that less is more. The creators have obviously fired their best ammunition in the two previous seasons. There were only two episodes that I found worthwhile. I was sick and tired of the rest.
