Michel Gaztambide is a scriptwriter with twenty years of experience working with the most important Spanish directors. In 1991 he co-wrote the film Santa Cruz, The Guerilla Priest, by Jose Mª Tuduri. His next projects included co-writing the feature films Chatarra (1991) by Feliz Roteta, Vacas (1992) by Julio Medem (for which he was nominated for a Best Screenplay Goya and won the Writers Guild Award in the same category) and Yoyes (1998) by Helena Taberna.  In 2001 he began his creative relationship with Enrique Urbizu, writing two of his most publically and critically acclaimed films, Box 507 (2001) and Life Marks (2002). He has been involved in the scripts A bit of Chocolate (2008) by Aitzol Aramaio and El Idioma Imposible (2010) by Rodrigo Rodero.
