An internationally acclaimed bestselling author, Tropper has captivated audiences across multiple mediums. Also a screenwriter and producer, he has a gift for creating projects that take complex characters on fascinating journeys across film, television and novels.

Following "This is Where I Leave You," Tropper developed on the film adaptation of his novel One Last Thing Before I Go. In addition to adaptations of his novels, he has developed multiple other film projects with high-level, award-winning filmmakers, including "Harvey," and "Kodachrome" for director Shawn Levy.

Beyond his film work, Tropper is the co-creator and executive producer for the Cinemax action-drama series "Banshee." The show, which premiered in January 2013, has brought record-breaking ratings to the network for an original series.

As a writer, Tropper has garnered tremendous attention for his ability to bring his own personal experiences to life in the pages of a book. He has published six novels: Plan B, The Book of Joe, Everything Changes, How To Talk to a Widower, This Is Where I Leave You, and One Last Thing Before I Go. Five of Tropper's six books have been optioned at auction within a week of publication, and his works have successfully been translated and sold in over twenty languages.
