Giedre Zickyte

Giedre Žickyte, born in 1980 in Lithuania, has studied journalism at Vilnius University, film and TV directing at Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre and completed her studies with a Master's degree in visual arts at the Vilnius Academy of Arts. She is a member of Lithuanian Union of Cinematographers, Lithuanian Academy of Cinema and European Documentary Network. In 2011 Scanorama presented her debut feature-length documentary How We Played the Revolution which was later screened in more than 20 international festivals.
