She studied Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb and New Media at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. Her film Marija’s Own (2011) premiered in Hot Docs, at Toronto, and had its European premiere in Karlovy Vary, where it won the Award given by the Federation of Critics from Europe and the Mediterranean. It was shown at over twenty festivals, including the Documentary Fortnight at MoMA. She co-directed Winter/Miracle (2012) with Gustavo Beck. The film could be seen at CPH:DOX and at Gothenburg, and it won the award for Best Film from Central and Eastern Europe at Jihlava. Endless Tail (2018) premiered at Karlovy Vary.
