Anne Sewitsky

Anne Sewitsky is a Norwegian film director born in Oslo, raised in Stavern with ancestral roots from Farsund and the United States. She was educated at The Norwegian Film School in 2006. Anne Sewitsky short film Oh My God! was awarded the prize for best short film in the Generation Kplus the Berlin Film Festival. In January 2011, won the Anne Sewitsky “World Cinema Grand Jury Prize, Dramatic” during the Sundance Film Festival for comedy Insanely Happy (Happy Happy). This is the first Norwegian feature film which won a Sundance award. And it was also selected to represent Norway at the Oscars.
