Liz Lobato

Actress, director and theatre teacher, she began her career in Paris. She holds an MA in screenwriting from the Royal Holloway University of London and is studying for a PhD in film at the UCLM. She has directed several short documentaries and fiction films that have won numerous international awards. Her first feature film as director, producer and screenwriter, Tierra de Nuestras Madres (2023), was selected for the official Zonazine section of the last Malaga Film Festival, winning the Audience Award, the Best Actor Award and the Best Film Award given by the film schools.
