Blanca Rodríguez has a longstanding tradition as a professional actress with over 25 years of work on the stage, both in the Canary Islands and the mainland of Spain. She was best actress and she won winner of the prize Replica for Scenic Arts in the Canary Islands, 2009, best actress award, the Garnacha prize in La Rioja, 2008, among others). She has also been successful in her full-screen apperances both in feature films and shorts, such as La raya by Andres Koppel, Ruleta by Robero Santiago, La caja by Juan Carlos Falcon, Que parezca un accidente by Gerardo Herrero and Catalina by Mario Iglesias. She has also taken part in over 15 shorts filmed for the Festivalito working with directors like Antonia San Juan, Kevin de la Cruz and Mario Iglesias, among others.
