David Hillman Curtis

David Hillman Curtis (b. 1961, California) is a filmmaker and designer. He headed his company hillmancurtis, inc., one of the world's top web design agencies, for ten years. Curtis turned his attention to film in 2004, making the shorts Spinal Tap (2007), Embrace (2008) and Bridge (2009), and promo spots for Rolling Stone, Blackberry, BMW and IBM, among others. He teamed up with David Byrne in 2008 to create this feature-length documentary debut.
